Grow
There’s a whole lot of science, a little bit of luck, and even some unnecessary mystery when it comes to knowing which vines to plant, and where to put them.
As this is intended to be an introductory site to wine appreciation, we’ll take it from the very top. Wine is most commonly the fermented juice of grapes. Grapes grow on vines. These vines, which are grown in vineyards, come in a great many varieties and each have their particular preferences as to where they like to be grown. You can use this section of the site to check out the history of wine growing, the wine regions of Australia, and the environmental factors that impact the characteristics of grapes, and in turn the wine, as they grow.
